Pettarini is founded in 1957. Its production was initially aimed at the furniture sector, but the company soon expanded its technological background and design capabilities, diversifying its market.

Augusto Pettarini trained as a mechanic at the Cantieri Riuniti dell’Adriatico in the years before the Second World War. His duties included being part of the working group in charge of building one of the prototypes of the CANT Z 1018 medium bombardier.

Pettarini&C. is founded
Augusto Pettarini, together with four other partners, founded Pettarini & C. Four years later, Pettarini would become a single-member company, with Augusto taking the helm. Meanwhile, Augusto’s son, Giovanni Pettarini, immediately joined the company.

The first certification: ISO 9001
The new millennium brings the first international certification. It is the ISO 9001, relating to “Quality Management Systems”. For companies, it is a clear indicator of how they pursue customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of their performance within business activities. In the coming years, ISO 9001 will be joined by two other international certifications.

2004 saw the birth of the first component designed and manufactured for the Automotive sector. It is the first step taken into a territory that, even if previously unexplored, will become prosperous with satisfaction.

The second ISO certification comes thirteen years after ISO 9001. IATF 16949 (ex ISO/TS) is a fundamental certification in order to work with the Automotive sector, which in the recent years has become the biggest for Pettarini in terms of related turnover. The guarantee of quality and added value that the company offers to its Automotive customers is well demonstrated by this certification.

Via Maroncelli: Pettarini expands
In 2018, Pettarini’s new headquarters were inaugurated. The move is a small one, remaining in Manzano but moving just one kilometre from the old site in Via Fierutta to the factories in Via Maroncelli.
However, the real revolution of this period is the expansion of the facilities. For the production department and offices, it is a major renovation that positively affects the efficiency of processes.

The prototyping process also involves the renewable energy sector. The first bushings for attaching photovoltaic panels to concrete bases, which are more efficient than ‘traditional’ solutions in the industry, are designed and produced.

The prize was awarded by ItalyPost, Nord-Est Multimedia and Messaggero Veneto.
The initiative aimed to highlight companies that have distinguished themselves through their capacity for growth, profitability and financial strength, demonstrating resilience and innovation in the face of global economic challenges.
PETTARINI AT UEB 4 WORK #2
Pettarini Srl participated in UEB4WORK, the recruiting day held on Saturday 19 October 2024 at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Cividale del Friuli.
The event, coordinated by the A2 Series basketball club United Eagles Basketball of Cividale, also saw the participation of Gesteco, Maddalena, Faber Industries, MEP and Zanutta.
Talents looking for new career adventures were able to conduct interviews directly with the HR managers of the six participating companies.
